$1 for a meal

We already know it isn't too expensive but with us moving here, we've started to pay more attention to costs and pricing.  And...you can have a meal for just $1.  All you need is the microwave.  Or if you want to be healthier, just pay $2 for Lean Cuisine.

Where can you get meals for $1/$2 in Singapore?  Looks great when plated nicely, don't they?

Bulk purchases - i.e. buy 10 of a group of items - and couponing will save you more.  Ever since watching Extreme Couponing on TV, we've fantasised about paying just a penny for a cartload of items.  Then we realize that this would probably work only for household items.  We are trying to eat more fresh and healthy stuff so these frozen food won't feature much in the freezer.  That said, I just had fish finger sandwich for breakfast.  Hahahaa...Oh well.  Leon had scrambled eggs, Philly cream cheese and bread.
