Day 1

It's past midnight and the two of us are wide awake (0_0) We succumbed and took a nap in the afternoon.  So here I am on FB and blogging, and he is on the bed watching his Japanese drama serials because "OMG! the network here is so good!"  (*_*)

While we wait for the house to be ready, here is our temporary abode.  Looks pretty good right?  It's actually a split level apartment, i.e. each floor is occupied by one family, with a garage per apartment.

And here's a picture of the inside - large, wooden American style furniture.  We like it!  We need to buy a new bed when the house is ready.  We, well I actually, have got our eyes set on a sleigh bed!

We've also rented a Ford Explorer for use while we shop for our car.  It'll be an SUV and right now, we're leaning towards an RX350.  Compared to Singapore, any car here is very affordable.  Gas is slightly cheaper as well.  The key question in this department is if we'll need a second car.  We're trying to be sensible yet not miss out on experiences.  Just because things are more affordable doesn't mean we've to spend but it might also be the only chance to drive one of my dream cars.  Well, we have time to decide because those dream cars are not winter cars and we're heading into autumn soon :o)
